My Own Little Quirks

“Every man had his own quirks and twists” (Harriet Beecher Stowe)

According to freedictionary.com, quirk  (kwûrk) is defined as

1. A peculiarity of behavior; an idiosyncrasy

2. An unpredictable or unaccountable act or event; a vagary: a quirk of fate.

My Quirks

  • Before leaving the house, I need to pee 2 or 3 times.
  • Kailangan barya yung perang pamasahe ko. Pag hindi kasi, nai-stress ako. So talagang pinapapalitan ko sya.
UNLESS THEY ARE SO IMPORTANT.
  • I bite my thumb pag nag-iisip at lost or kung wala lang
  • My undergarments are always black. Kahit pa maganda yung design ng red, I always go for black. But I’M TRYING to have a variance naman sa kulay. Hahaha.
They stay there for months.
  • Mahilig ako magde-quatro ng panlalaki

So, kayo, anong mga quirks nyo? 🙂

So… Happy Together

Isa sa mga favorite ‘kong Pinoy movie. Movie review ko sa Film Aesthetics when I was in college.

“secret lovers tayo ‘di ba”. Osmond (Eric Quizon) said to Lianne (Kris Aquino)

Joel Lamangan directed So.. Happy Together, an entry for 30th MMFF. I was satisfied with the film simply because it talks about friendship but it’s not an ordinary friendship I would say because it’s a relationship between a gay and a loud woman.

As a comedy film, I laughed at the unintentionally funny stuff more than the stuff that’s supposed to be funny. For one thing, how the hell can you tell a computer has a virus by opening up the CPU power?! Cogie Domingo, who plays Oliver, the religious boytoy of Osmond, reported to Osmond that his computer has a virus while inspecting the motherboard and the cables.

As the film goes by and a decade or two had passed, I noticed that Kris Aquino haven’t change a bit, I mean, she should have wrinkles or any signs of aging but to my dismay, I haven’t found anything. That’s ridiculous, isn’t it?

Last thing I noticed is the product placement, I think they made good ad for chunkee corned beef. The ad were seen at least three times.
The film really entertained me. It’s really funny and you can relate.

Galing sa Multiply.
